BLI Graduation Year: 2015
Tell us briefly about yourself and please update your classmates on your personal/professional experiences since graduating from BLI:
I’m a transplant to the Binghamton area but after raising three grown children in Vestal, this is my community. I have worked in various positions in architectural firms for over 30 years, and since graduating from BLI in 2015, I’ve accepted a position as Senior Project Manager with SEI DESIGN GROUP. SEI provides architecture, planning and consulting services to Pre-K – 12 School District, Higher Education, Healthcare, Hospitality and Commercial clients. SEI was established to provide responsive design, superior quality, and exceptional client support while creating a positive, productive work environment and culture for their valued employees. While my husband and I miss the multiple activities our children were involved in, we enjoy the time we now have to attend the many events in the Southern Tier.
Favorite books/movies:
I enjoy reading and viewing historical books and movies. Especially those involving England and Ireland as my grandparents immigrated from those countries and I had the opportunity to visit my extended family in 2016.
Current and Past Notable Civic Activities:
I served on the BLI Alumni Board from 2015-2019, and was treasurer from 2016-2019. I have also acted as the Logistics Chair of the BLI Canstruction Committee for the last three years and participated in the event from its inception in 2013.
Interests/Hobbies:
I love to do anything outside including walking and hiking with my dog Maddie.
