How did your BLI experience change your perception of the community, and motivate you to become more involved in your community?
During my BLI course training, I was impressed by the companies we visited. I was not aware of the varying depth of businesses in our area. I know that diversity makes “things” better, and am very excited to know that our area is so diversified with so many different kinds of business establishments. This makes our community stable in varying degrees of economic times.
What was your most memorable BLI activity/moment?
I believe it was Windsor Acres. I was so impressed with the farm operations and milk production.
What was the most valuable benefit to you from your BLI experience?
Knowing that our region is so production with so many valued and diversified companies.
What “nugget of wisdom” do you have for your fellow BLI alum?
“Lead” with an “End” in mind.
